Real Madrid fullback Dani Carvajal has suffered an injury setback.
Carvajal will not play again in 2023. This morning the mystery surrounding his injury has been cleared up: it is not serious, but it is more than was thought (the explorations at the Bernabu pointed to a mere overload).
The fullback has undergone an MRI and the results confirm that he has damaged the left soleus.
The forecast is that he will be out for around three weeks, possibly a month (four). What is certain is that he will not play again in 2023, with the goal being to reach the Spanish Super Cup (week of January 8 to 14).
