What up Yardbarkers?
What up Yardbarkers? As many of you know, the UFL season is well underway and I am coaching the California Redwoods. I am on my way to Florida to battle it out with the Florida Tuskers, but I’m not going to lie, I am a little nervous. Florida’s team is stacked, with 40 former NFL players on their roster. Last week, Florida's QB Brooks Bollinger went 26 for 36 with 310 passing yards in Florida's domination of the Las Vegas Locos. They are good, there is no question about that, but with Dennis and I coaching the Redwoods, I think we will be just fine! Jim Haslett and Dennis Green have faced off three times as NFL head coaches, so this will be interesting! Plus, we have running back Cory Ross who leads the UFL in rushing with 168 yards and recorded the first 100 plus-yard game in UFL history when he ran for 121 yards in California’s 24-7 win over New York. It is going to be a great game, so tune into Versus on October 22nd at 7pm EST!
I will also be commentating the UNLV vs UNM on the Mountain Network, so please make sure to tune in on Saturday at 6pm! As a side note, I am also re-launching my restaurant in San Diego and will have more details to come…but it will definitely be the sickest Sports Bar that Diego has ever seen!
